Your rope may already come with the Honda tied, or you may prefer to have a couple of our favorite options on hand:

Breakaway Honda

If this will be your first time roping, or you want to have a little extra time to practice your rope coming tight in the branding pen, be sure to have a breakaway Honda.  We can help you put it on and transition to a solid Honda when you're ready.

Nate Wald Honda

Here's why we we like this Honda:

1. The leather tip makes it easier on the crew to set ropes
2.  The weight helps your loop land where you send it if the weather gets a little breezy.

  • If you're using an RV, be sure to fill your water tank before hauling to the cap.
  • If you want power, you'll need to have a generator.
  • Please be considerate of neighbors by using your generator if and when needed.  We try to turn generators off at the start of the evening, and leave windows open throughout the night.
  • Port-A-Potty at Camp and at Branding Pens
  • Please be on the lookout for snakes, especially in the mornings and evenings. Rattle snakes, bull snakes, and red racers are common.
  • There are no horses or cars in camp, please walk from your camper/trailer to camp.
